Soft Rebellion
My current work (2026) is rooted in a balance between intuition and structure.
Much like “Action Painting” developed with the Abstract expressionists of the 1940s and 50s, I try to approach the canvas without a plan but more of a feeling. Once started the painting reveals the push and pull of imagery, shapes and line. Moments are caught in time.
